Bringing Treatment to the People: Mobile MAT/MOUD Services That Meet You Where You Are
Access to life saving treatment shouldn’t depend on where you live, what you’ve been through, or whether you can make it to a clinic. At CTHRA, we believe that everyone deserves a real chance at healing no waiting lists, no stigma, no red tape. That’s why we take our Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) and Medications for Opioid Use Disorder (MOUD) services on the road.
Because recovery doesn’t happen on a schedule.
And healing doesn’t start with judgment.
It starts with showing up.
Our Mobile MAT/MOUD Harm Reduction Units are more than vans, they are rolling lifelines. Staffed by compassionate providers and nurses who understand the realities of substance use, our mobile teams offer:
Low-barrier access to Suboxone, buprenorphine, and other treatment options
On-site clinical assessments & medication starts
Wound care for injuries, abscesses, and xylazine related wounds
HIV/HCV testing, harm reduction supplies, and safer use education
Follow-up support, linkage to primary care, and ongoing engagement
We don’t ask people to be “ready.”
We don’t ask them to be perfect.
We just meet them where they are physically, emotionally, and with no strings attached.
This program is built on the belief that recovery is possible but only if it’s accessible. And too many people in our communities have been shut out, turned away, or made to feel like they had to prove they were "worthy" of care. Not here. At CTHRA, we know that people are worthy just because they exist.
So we go.
Into parking lots, under bridges, to shelters, encampments, and street corners.
Wherever people are we show up, we treat, we care, and we keep coming back.
Because harm reduction and medication-assisted treatment are not opposites they’re partners.
And together, they save lives.
