The Outreach Team
Relentless, Rooted, Real
They don’t operate in cubicles.
They navigate chaos. They answer phones in the rain, duck bullets to deliver Naloxone, and hold space in alleys where nobody else is willing to kneel.
They don’t just do outreach. They bear witness.
to grief, to courage to people who are alive today because someone handed them a kit, a snack, or simply refused to look away.
This is CTHRA’s Outreach Team is not a department, but a crew of fire hearted people who refuse to let anyone vanish into the dark.
They know the streets not from a map, but from memory.
They move through heartbreak like it’s familiar ground, because it is.
And still, they come back. Again and again. With gear. With grit. With no agenda other than "we got you."
No dress code. No savior complex.
Just humans showing up for other humans.
Because they’ve seen what happens when no one does.
They bring clean tools and second chances.
They bandage xylazine wounds and hand out safe use supplies with care.
They help someone breathe again, and then stay to make sure they want to keep breathing tomorrow.
They build connection in places most people have abandoned.
Every van stop, every parking lot, every drop site is a reminder:
We are not scared of your pain. We are not here to fix you. We are here to ride with you.
